Changó hosts London's biggest Saturday night salsa social — nonstop music, an electric dance floor, and a community that keeps growing.
Saturday night at Changó is when London salsa comes alive. The Amadeus in Maida Vale fills with dancers from across the city, the DJ plays nonstop salsa — timba, salsa dura, romántica — and the floor stays packed until the lights come on. No classes, no performances, just pure social dancing all Saturday night.
Saturday is the night for going out, and at Changó it is the night for salsa. Our Saturday socials in London draw the biggest crowds, the best energy, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you forget the time. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or stepping onto the floor for the first time, Saturday at Changó is where you want to be.
Our Saturday salsa nights in London bring together dancers of all levels and styles. Crossbody dancers (On1 and On2), Cali-style salseros, and newcomers all share the same floor. The Saturday crowd is diverse, friendly, and always up for a dance — no partner needed, just bring your energy.
The Amadeus sits on Shirland Road in Maida Vale, West London, just a 5-minute walk from Warwick Avenue station. The venue has a spacious wooden dance floor with a proper sound system that makes the music feel live. It is the ideal setting for a Saturday salsa night — big enough to move, intimate enough to connect.
What makes our Saturday salsa socials stand out in London is simple: focus. No mixed-genre playlists, no filler, no distractions — just 100% salsa from the first track to the last. Changó is built by dancers, for dancers. The right music, the right floor, and a community that keeps growing on Saturday nights.

Changó is the social — Cali Beat is where you go to take salsa classes. Based in Chiswick, W4, Cali Beat runs structured courses for all levels.

Comfortable clothing you can move in and smooth-soled shoes work best for salsa dancing. Avoid trainers with sticky rubber soles — they make it hard to spin on the dance floor.
