Salsa Saturdays in London
Changó's occasional Saturday salsa parties in London — one class, nonstop music, and a community that keeps growing.
Our Saturday salsa parties are occasional, ad hoc events — not a fixed weekly night. When we run one, doors open at 8pm at The Amadeus in Maida Vale with one salsa class included in your ticket, then social dancing takes over from around 9pm until 11.30pm — nonstop salsa: timba, salsa dura, romántica.
Because they are not weekly, our Saturday socials are events worth planning around — bigger nights, with the same focus on 100% salsa and a packed dance floor. Check our events section for the next confirmed date.
Our Saturday parties bring together dancers of all levels and styles. Crossbody dancers (On1 and On2), Cali-style salseros, and newcomers all share the same floor. No partner needed — just bring your energy.
The Amadeus sits on Shirland Road in Maida Vale, West London, just a 5-minute walk from Warwick Avenue station. The venue has a spacious wooden dance floor with a proper sound system that makes the music feel live. It is the ideal setting for a Saturday salsa night — big enough to move, intimate enough to connect.
What makes our Saturday parties stand out is focus and rarity — no mixed-genre playlists, no filler, just pure salsa when we run a night. Changó is built by dancers, for dancers, for our weekly Monday classes and our occasional Saturday parties alike.

Part Of Cali Beat
Changó is brought to you by Cali Beat a salsa school based in Chiswick, W4. We teach courses in both Crossbody and Cali salsa. For more info click below.
